Emma Lee Minard - Seymour High School - Senior of the Week - 5 March 1953

No wonder Emma Lee Minard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Minard, is so vivacious! She was born at 4 o'clock in the morning, which should make anyone energetic.
She has three younger brothers and two younger sisters. Emma has attended five schools in her school life. They were two in Centerville, Plano, Jerome and Seymour.
Emma Lee is 5 feet, 6 inches tall. She has brown hair and blue eyes. Minnie is her nickname; pet peeve is having someone bother her when she is reading. While there isn't anything to keep her busy Emma likes to work with shells and listen to good music. Minnie's ambition is to make the world better because she has to live in it. Going to camp last summer was Emma Lee's most exciting experience.
Some of Emma's favorites are: son, Ivory Palaces; subject, typing; singer, Eddie Fisher.
The preferable day of the week for this girl is Sunday because she is always somewhere other than home. The month of December because of the gay spirit which everyone has. The most important year was in the fall of 1949, the beginning of her high school education.
The appearance of S.H.S. is the thing she like most about it and to improve it she considers having an elevator instead of so many stairs. In this I think everyone agrees with her. --Pat Knowles
